Former WWE champion says she hates Kris Statlander

Kris Statlander became AEW Women's World Champion by defeating Jamie Hayter, Thekla, and previous champion "Timeless" Toni Storm, in a four-way match at All Out 2025. Her reign has been enjoyable so far. However, she might get dethroned later this month.

The Galaxy's Greatest Alien is going to defend her title against Mercedes Mone at Full Gear. If the latter wins, she will not only become AEW Women's World Champion for the first time in her career, but also the owner of thirteen belts in total.

The rivalry between Mone and Statlander has been captivating so far. The women's world champion made an appearance during The CEO and Athena's match against Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron on Dynamite. Her actions cost the former WWE stars their match, and they are not happy about it.

The former Sasha Banks recently expressed her disapproval of the Long Island native. She released a bold statement on X.

The TBS Champion bluntly said that she hates Kris Statlander.

"I HATE KRIS STATLANDER!" wrote Mone.

Mercedes Mone was signed to WWE from 2012 to 2022. She made her AEW debut last year.

Kris Statlander on becoming AEW Women's World Champion at All Out 2025

On a recent appearance on Close Up with Renee Paquette, Kris Statlander opened up on becoming the new AEW Women's World Champion at All Out.

The 30-year-old revealed that she felt calm on the day of winning the title because she was aware that her time had arrived.

"I was weirdly very calm that day. I don’t know why… I think I knew in myself that I had been preparing for this moment for so long that before I even stepped out there, I knew what I was ready to accomplish," said Statlander.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for The Galaxy's Greatest Alien in All Elite Wrestling. She is a unique talent, and she might hold the women's world title for several months to come.
