Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is taking part in the time-honored tradition of trolling the Cleveland Browns after their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1.
Trolling the Browns is a pastime enjoyed by everyone who follows the league, and former Steelers are particularly big fans of doing so because of the rivalry between the two AFC North teams.
Countless Steelers have done so over the years, and Steelers legend and former quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is among them.
Now that he's not the head coach of the Steelers anymore, Mike Tomlin doesn't have to be as diplomatic and can join in on the fun.
Tomlin, who is an analyst on NBC after leaving the Steelers after last season, took time out to burn Cleveland over their ugly 34-10 loss to the Jags.
"In the words of my friend JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Browns are the Browns," Tomlin said on the NBC broadcast on Sunday night.
No lies detected.
The Browns are once again shaping up to be a dumpster fire in 2026.
They got absolutely smoked by the Jaguars in a game that wasn't even close thanks to yet another putrid showing from quarterback Deshaun Watson.
It's hard to feel bad for the organization as a whole, as it continues to make the same stupid mistakes over and over again that makes the Browns the laughingstock of the NFL.
We do feel bad for the fans, though, because they've had to deal with complete and utter dysfunction for far too long.
It's incredible that the Browns have any fans left.
Things won't get any easier for Cleveland next week, as they'll be taking on yet another potent offense in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' in Week 2.
