Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer, a spokesman announced Sunday.

The diagnosis was announced after doctors found a “small nodule” on Biden’s prostate during a physical exam earlier this month.

The cancer was said to have “metastasis to the bone” — meaning it has spread to his bones — but is apparently hormone-sensitive, which could make it more treatable.

This is a breaking story. Please check back for updates.
