Oklahoma State's big day extended to former Cowboys.

The same day Oklahoma State upset Oregon, former Cowboys quarterback Hauss Hejny passed for 325 yards and four touchdowns and ran five times for 85 yards to lead the Rams to a 58-24 win over Southern Utah. He capped off his dynamic Saturday night with a 75-yard touchdown run.

The previous week, he passed for 214 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 39 yards in a 35-13 win over Wyoming.

The elusive dual threat quarterback started his career as a backup at TCU in 2024. He earned the starting job at Oklahoma State in 2025 and passed and ran for a score in the first quarter of the season opener against Tennessee-Martin before breaking a bone in his left foot. He had surgery and missed the rest of the season before transferring. Now, he has the Rams off to a 2-0 start.
