Liverpool's 3-0 EFL Cup defeat to Crystal Palaceset another unwanted record for Arne Slot's team.

Slot backed his called to name a youthful side, but the Dutch coach has been criticised for his selection, with former Reds midfielder Jamie Redknapp claiming it was a mistake as the former Feyenoord chief pays the price of his title win last season.
"It was the wrong team, make no mistake. He picked a team that made it really difficult for himself. You've not helped the youngsters because of the players around them. He made 10 changes from the Brentford loss," he said.
"He's been unbelievable since he's come to the club. He's under some real pressure, but that's football. That's the price on the ticket.
"They climbed the mountain last season and were absolutely sensational. Now they've got to go back to that character they showed when they won the title and stick together."
Redknapp's challenge for Liverpool to recover will come into instant focus on November 1 as Aston Villa head to Anfield in a key league clash.
