A former AEW Women's Champion has spoken up about the harassment and disrespect that has been aimed at her by a social media user as of late. The star in question, Nyla Rose, has been on an extended hiatus from the company's programming for some time.

The Native Beast began her journey in All Elite Wrestling back in 2019, signing on with the brand as the first openly transgender wrestler to ink a deal with a major US promotion. She was a big part of the Jacksonville-based company's women's division during its early years, and has competed against several of its top names, including Britt Baker, Riho, Kris Statlander, Ruby Soho, Toni Storm, and Mercedes Mone, just to name a few.

Throughout her career, Nyla has had to deal with bigoted and hateful attacks and comments from a prejudiced section of the wrestling fanbase. A couple of hours ago, the former AEW Women's World Champion called out one such toxic fan, a social media user with the username justadam026, over supposedly acting like a stalker and commenting on other people's posts about her multiple times. She even dared the user to confront her in person, writing:

"@justadam026 here’s the attention that you so desperately want from me… because of someone who claims to be disgusted by me your actions are coming off as a stalker who has a crush. you’ve commented on at least 5 different posts on different peoples page that have to do with me over the last few weeks… it’s honestly kind of f****** weird at this point…. Like if you want attention or have a crush, there’s other ways to go about it but everybody else either ignores me or says they’re peace and move on… you’re clearly obsessed. so if you want some Nyla stop being a scared little b**** and approach me correctly," posted Nyla.

Despite being a favorite among audiences, Rose has been missing from AEW television since she and Harley Cameron unsuccessfully battled Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa in tag team action on a November, 2024 episode of Rampage-although she did also wrestle a dark match against Jordan Blade on Dynamite: Holiday Bash 2024 the following month.

Latest report on Nyla Rose's AEW absence

Barring her matches on the 2025 Jericho Cruise, Nyla Rose did not wrestle a single bout last year under the AEW banner. This has led many to speculate on the possible reasons behind her programming absence. Addressing the topic last month during a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp indicated that even The American Kaiju herself is likely unaware as to why she has been on the bench for so long. He claimed that his other sources in the company were also in the dark regarding her hiatus, stating:

“I don’t know that Nyla knows why she hasn’t been on TV for a year. I don’t know why she hasn’t been. People that I talk to in the company don’t know why.... This is one of the biggest criticisms I have of AEW – is that people will just be pulled from TV and just forgotten.” [H/T - Ringside News]

It remains to be seen whether Nyla will return to All Elite Wrestling TV anytime soon.
