The Baltimore Ravens ended up just one firework short of a huge win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night.
We know where that firework went, too.
During pregame festivities, the M&T Bank Stadium staff usually fires off fireworks up into the sky at both ends of the stadium.
On this night, one of those fireworks didn't shoot upward. Instead, it shot straight toward the field.
The video is almost hard to believe:

That's almost spooky.
It appears to have landed near someone on the field, but there was no follow-up indication that anyone was hurt.
Whatever mechanism was being used to aim the firework to the sky apparently didn't do its job.
It's definitely something you can bet the Ravens will be sure doesn't happen again, but even it happening once is a pretty frightening sight.
It certainly didn't set a great tone. The Ravens needed a win, but instead they blew a 10-point lead and lost a late fumble to ensure they would be 28-24 losers to the New England Patriots in a gotta-have-it kind of game.
