Days after a messy backstage brawl with former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski in Miami, Jack Doherty has drawn fresh backlash for floating an idea that fight fans instantly rejected.
The influencer suggested a potential boxing matchup between his security guard and Arlovski. The brawl unfolded at the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua event, where Doherty was seen recording content while moving through the backstage area.
Video footage showed him bumping into Arlovski, and the situation escalated quickly. Members of Doherty’s group swung first, Arlovski responded, and one man ended up on the ground before security intervened.

Several fans took to X to respond to Doherty's idea, with one fan writing:
"Fight your own battles."Meanwhile, other fans wrote:
"There’s no soul behind your eyes." "I think the people want Andrei Arlovski vs. Jack Doherty. Make it happen." "Bro loves hiding behind his bodyguards." "This is a matchup I never knew I needed to see. Andrei Arlovski is a seasoned MMA beast. Your security guard? Probably has street-fighting experience… maybe. Either way, this is less “fight” and more “entertainment chaos waiting to happen.” "Imagine picking a fight with a UFC fighter, then trying to promote a fight between him and your security guard. This is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen." "Nah, bro. Quit ducking me. Me vs you. Let’s make it happen."Check out some of the fan reactions below:

Andrei Arlovski believes a routine night at the fights turned hostile because of influencer antics gone wrong. The former UFC heavyweight champion explained that Jack Doherty and his crew initiated the physical exchange backstage at the recent Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua event in Miami.
Arlovski stated that he was forced to respond defensively after threats to his family and friends. Doherty has denied starting the altercation and claimed Arlovski struck first as they crossed paths.
The former UFC fighter revealed his side of the story on social media, stating:
"I guess because they were looking for content for their website. I guess I was a victim. They thought maybe it was going to be easy content for YouTube. Maybe that’s why. Maybe I’m old. Maybe because it’s three idiots and a big bodyguard. It’s kind of weird because I saw him walking, but I didn’t pay attention that he might be with them. He kind of landed one punch. So I have to be more alert and pay attention to people who are around. That’s the lesson. ... That guy was sneaky. He sucker punched me, and I didn’t expect his sucker punch to be honest with you.
