LOS ANGELES — Libby Adame, the California “Butt Lady,” sat emotionless as the family of actress Cindyana Santangelo condemned her for killing the star with a lethal silicone injection.

Adame, 55, was in court Wednesday wearing a blue prison uniform and handcuffed to her chair. Adame was sentenced to 15 years to life behind bars for Santangelo’s death … but not before emotional statements from the actresses’ family.

“I will never have my best friend, my boys won’t have their mom at their weddings. It’s insane that someone would make that choice,” a heartbroken Frank Santangelo, Cindy’s husband, told the court as he fought back tears.

“I don’t think someone who has no regard for human life should be let back on the street,” Santangelo’s son, Dante, added.

Adame — who also went by the name “La Tía” — was convicted of second-degree murder and practicing medicine without a license following the death of the 58-year-old “Married… with Children” actress on March 24.

Adame was at Santangelo’s Malibu home on the same day officials say she died from an embolism that resulted from a silicone injection.

Adame’s defense attorney, J. Michael Flanagan, argued “the Butt Lady” didn’t have enough time during her visit to perform the procedure, and that someone else must’ve administered the fatal jab. Adding Adame was only at the actress’s home as a consultant for practitioners in Tijuana, Mexico, where the procedure is legal.

It’s not the first time Adame’s been connected to a fatal butt injection. Last year, Adame was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without certification after Karissa Rajpaul, 26, died from a similar silicone butt injection in Sherman Oaks in 2019.

Adame was sentenced to a four-year, four-month state prison term in connection to Rajpaul’s death, but was later released on time served. She was on probation at the time she visited Santangelo’s home, and knew she could no longer do “butt work” in California, said her attorney.

At the Rajpaul trial, prosecutors claimed they obtained security footage of Adame leaving a South Gate salon in 2018 moments before paramedics arrived to treat a woman who later died from a silicon injection. No charges were filed in that incident. but the evidence suggests Adame knew the risks associated with the cosmetic jabs, the L.A. Times reported.
