The Lakers won the Timberwolves 116-115 thanks to Austin Reaves' buzzer-beating floater. Reaves ended the game with 28 points and 16 assists, while Deandre Ayton chipped in with a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds for the purple and gold.

Edwards missed his second consecutive game against the Lakers on Wednesday. He was ruled out due to a right hamstring strain, which he first felt during Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers. He didn't play against the Denver Nuggets on Monday, and according to ESPN's insider Shams Charania, he is expected to miss two weeks.

He is expected to return in mid-November. The Wolves will be careful not to rush his return from injury.
