The Detroit Lions' postseason dreams ended on Christmas Day after a disappointing 23-10 loss against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.

The Lions' third consecutive defeat not only eliminated them from the playoff race but also guaranteed their division rivals, the Green Bay Packers, a postseason berth.

Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills shared a clip of Amon-Ra St. Brown's celebration from their 44-22 win against the Washington Commanders. Stills insinuated that the Lions' wide receivers' dance cursed the team.

Brown was celebrated with the dance during the first quarter of the game that Detroit won comfortably. However, the Lions have managed just two wins in seven games, ending their playoff hopes.

The Lions wide receiver had eight receptions for 68 yards against the Vikings before suffering a leg injury in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter. Brown, who was going for a catch on Detroit's final drive of the game, hurt his leg after an awkward fall. He exited the game after being evaluated by the medical team.

Amon-Ra St. Browns' status for Thursday's game was 'questionable' as the Lions wide receiver reportedly suffered a leg injury on Thanksgiving. However, he was deemed good enough to play.

Despite his injury, Brown etched his name in the history books during Thursday's contest. The Lions wide receiver grabbed his 100th catch of the season against the Vikings, becoming the first player in franchise history to have four 100-catch seasons.

Brown, who made his NFL debut in 2021, registered 90 catches in his rookie season and has 100+ catches in each of his four seasons since. He became the fifth wide receiver in NFL history to have four consecutive 100+ catch seasons.
