Ex-AEW star reacts to John Cena's viral moment before he tapped out in his last WWE match

A former AEW talent has gained attention after sharing a one-word reaction to an epic moment that occurred just seconds before John Cena tapped out against Gunther in his last WWE match.

Last Saturday, John Cena concluded a 20+ year illustrious career in professional wrestling after losing to Gunther in his final match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLII. The match itself was an exciting back-and-forth battle, with the finish seeing the Ring General applying the sleeper hold on the Never Seen 17, making him tap out. However, a moment that grabbed fans' attention was Cena seemingly smiling just before he tapped, a moment that has since gone viral. Earlier today, former AEW star Abadon shared their reaction to the moment.

Taking to X, the 33-year-old star who left the Jacksonville-based promotion in June after their contract expired, shared a zoomed-in image of the incident and described it with a single word, "Iconic."

Former AEW star Abadon recently experienced a huge personal loss.

Last month, Abadon posted on Instagram to update her fans about a major personal loss. The 33-year-old star had lost their cat, Myka, due to a stroke. On Instagram, Abadon penned a beautiful yet heartbreaking message for her cat detailing her favourite food among other things.
