Everything you should know about the Silver Piggy in Grow a Garden

With the Trader Event, which arrived on November 22, 2025, Grow a Garden's developers added many new items, pets, and plants. The Silver Piggy was one of the eight critters added with this event. Unlike other pets in the game, which have to be hatched from Eggs or chests, the Silver Piggy must be crafted from the Craft Shop.

What does the Silver Piggy do in Grow a Garden?

The Silver Piggy looks identical to the Pig but has a very different Ability. It has one Passive, which comes in handy after the recent update: For every Silver Ingot Cosmetic you have in your garden, plants within a particular radius grow faster.

Note that players can only benefit from this pet when they have some Silver Ingots in their inventory.

How to obtain the items for crafting the Silver Piggy

Being a legendary-tier pet and having a unique Passive, it is absolutely worth the hustle it takes to craft the Silver Piggy.

To craft this critter in Grow a Garden, you will need the following items:

1. Pig.
2. Sushi.
3. Lightning Rod.
4. Medium Toy.
5. 150 Million Sheckles.

Items for crafting:

Pig: You can get this pet by hatching the Rare Egg from the Pet Eggs Shop. The Pig has a hatch chance of 16.67%.

Sushi: You can craft Sushi Food from the Cooking Kit added after the Cooking Event. To craft this item, you will need the Bamboo, Wrap, Main, and Rice type crops.

Lightning Rod: To craft this item, you will need one Basic Sprinkler, one Advanced Sprinkler, one Godly Sprinkler, and 500,000 Sheckles. You can also get it instantly using 179 Robux.

Medium Toy: You can purchase the Medium Toy for 4,000,000 Sheckles or 189 Robux from the Gear Shop.
