Charley Hull and Ben Griffin to join field at next week’s charity golf event

Charley Hull is currently competing in the 2025 CME Group Tour Championship. Next week, she will join Ben Griffin and other PGA Tour stars for a charity golf tournament in Austin, Texas.

The fourth edition of the Tito's Shorties Classic will be played on November 29. The charity tournament will see four world-class golfers go head-to-head in a ten-hole match.

Joining Charley Hull and Ben Griffin on the Saturday after Thanksgiving are Jake Knapp and Keith Mitchell, who is playing the Tito's Shorties Classic for the third time.

They will battle it out in a modified stableford format. Through the first nine holes, pars will be worth one point, birdies will be worth 2 points, and a hole-in-one is worth a whopping 5 points. The final 10th hole will be worth double points.

All four professional golfers will pick their favorite charities. The position they finish in at the end of the tournament will determine how much money their charity gets. A first-place finisher will receive a donation of $250,000, while fourth place will receive $50,000.

Tickets for the 2025 Tito's Shorties Classic must be purchased online. With the tournament only open to those who are above 21 years old, the charity event will not be filmed or broadcast.

Ben Griffin expressed his enthusiasm for playing in the Tito's Shorties Classic and guaranteed there's going to be a ton of banter and fun in Texas next week. He said (via Instagram @scratch):

"Hey, everyone, this is Ben Griffin. I am very excited to announce that I will be competing in this year's Tito's Shorties Classic at Butler Pitch & Putt in Austin, Texas. I'm going to be competing against Jake Knapp, Keith Mitchell, and Charley Hull. Be tons of fun and be very competitive. But I also guarantee there's going to be a lot of banter, especially from Keith. Stableford format. Only $10 to come out. We're going to be raising a ton of money for charity. Very excited to go out there and compete. It's going to be a ton of fun. Vibes are going to be high. And, excited to see you guys in Austin, Texas."

Joining the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour stars will be Amanda Balionis, Dan Rapaport, and St. Andre Golf's Hannah Aslesen and Aaron Chewning on the mic.
