Washington Commanders quarterback Jaydan Daniels suffered a gruesome elbow injury in his team's 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9 on Sunday night. Daniels' injury occurred in the fourth quarter, when Washington was down 31 points, and many suggested he should not have been on the field since the game was all but lost.
Former NFL linebacker also had the same opinion and slammed Commanders coach Dan Quinn for playing Daniels at the time the QB broke his arm.
"I don't like throwing out the word negligent often, especially when talking football," Acho said in a video he posted on X on Sunday. "But what the Washington Commanders and Dan Quinn did was just completely negligent to their quarterback, Jayden Daniels, and to the future of the franchise. In what world, when you're down by 31 points and you already have an injured quarterback ... in what world do you keep him in the game?•
