The Eagles are adding to their wide receiver room.

Philadelphia acquired Dontayvion Wicks from the Packers in exchange for the Falcons’ 2026 fifth-round pick and their own 2027 sixth-round pick, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter

Wicks, 24, is signing a one-year, $12.5 million extension with the franchise as well, Schefter added.

A fifth-round pick in 2023, Wicks spent the first three seasons of his NFL career in Green Bay, catching 108 passes for 1,328 yards with 11 touchdown catches.

Last year, Wicks had 30 catches for 332 yards and two scores in 14 games.

The addition comes as the A.J. Brown-Eagles saga is coming to a head.

Amid endless trade rumors, Schefter added that a Brown trade “would likely occur after June 1, when the cap burden would be more manageable for the Eagles.”

Late last month, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman shut down any talk of a Brown deal

“I understand that there’s interest in the A.J. Brown story. I, unfortunately, don’t have a home under a rock,” Roseman said. “But my answer to any question on A.J. Brown is A.J. Brown is a member of the Eagles. From my perspective, anything you ask me about A.J. Brown, I’m going to go right back to that answer. “

The Eagles have been busy adding pass-catchers this offseason, fueling speculation that Brown could be on the move.

The trade marks another departure from the Packers’ stable of wide receivers.

Last month, Romeo Doubs left Green Bay for an $80 million deal with the Patriots

Already a position of depth, the Packers are left with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden as their top three receivers.
