Drew McIntyre tears into WWE Official; fires personal shots: "You weren't good enough"

The latest episode of WWE SmackDown was a TV-taped show, and it concluded with Drew McIntyre standing tall over Cody Rhodes. The Scottish Warrior appeared in the main event segment, where he initially paid Nick Aldis the fine by check.

Following this, he apologized to WWE official Dan Engler, whom McIntyre attacked a few weeks back. The Scottishman first apologized for his actions and asserted that he shouldn't have done the same.

Meanwhile, he quickly switched gears and began taking personal shots at the official. The former World Heavyweight Champion said that Dan wants to be a professional wrestler but isn't good enough, so he chose to be a referee.

"I also apologize that it was obviously your dream to be a wrestler right here in this ring, doing what I do, former World Champion. But you weren’t good enough, so you had to be a referee. Let me come down to your level. I apologize, your lovely wife Melissa had to watch me Claymore you in the face, and she had to think to herself. 'I wish I had a husband like Drew that stood up for his convictions no matter the consequences.' I get why you did it, you had to save yourself, you had to screw me and save yourself and protect Cody, but I feel sorry, and I apologise for your children that they have such a coward, corporate stooge for a father."

Following this, McIntyre got interrupted by Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, and after another heated promo, Drew attacked the American Nightmare, too. For those who might not know, the Prodigal Son can't attack McIntyre until their title match. If he does so, he will be stripped of his Undisputed Championship.

Overall, the Scottish Warrior is working great as a heel. It remains to be seen how their storyline will unfold ahead of their upcoming match.

Drew McIntyre dragged a former WWE star's name during SmackDown

When Cody Rhodes disrupted the segment, McIntyre straight targeted the Undisputed Champion and dragged former WWE star Brandi Rhodes' name. The former Royal Rumble winner said he wishes Rhodes' children could see a real man destroy the American Nightmare.

He dragged Brandi Rhodes by saying that he wished Brandi could see what "a real daddy looks like." All these comments are making things more personal for Rhodes ahead of their title match and making this feud more interesting to watch.
