WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre recently took to social media to break his silence after the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The Scottish Warrior broke a major rule on the blue brand's show.
On this week's SmackDown, The Vision's Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Paul Heyman came out to cut a promo. They were later interrupted by The Usos, who waited for Cody Rhodes to join them. Although The American Nightmare's music started playing, he never showed up. Later, everyone got to know that Drew McIntyre had brutally assaulted Rhodes backstage in the latter's bus.
The Scottish Warrior broke a major WWE rule on the show as he showed up despite being suspended by Nick Aldis. He violated another rule by attacking Cody when they weren't wrestling each other inside the ring. McIntyre also drove away from the arena before he could face further consequences from Aldis for his actions.
The former World Heavyweight Champion recently took to Instagram to upload a backstage photo of himself coming out of Rhodes' bus on SmackDown. Drew also broke his silence to send a four-word message.
"No Scotland. No party," he wrote.Check out his Instagram post below:
WWE legend John Cena could replace Cody Rhodes after Drew McIntyre's attack
Many fans want John Cena to compete in this year's Men's WarGames Match. Although Cena is scheduled to face Dominik Mysterio in a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series, reports suggest that The Chain Gang Soldier could do double duty on the show.
Several rumors suggested that the 17-time World Champion could replace Jimmy Uso in Cody Rhodes' team if Big Jim gets taken out by someone. However, it seems like Cena could now replace The American Nightmare if the latter isn't able to wrestle after Drew McIntyre's vicious assault.
It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29, 2025.
