A major AEW star became a newly crowned champion at Full Gear 2025. The star was later presented with a customized version of the title by his stablemate.
That star is Mark Briscoe, who defeated Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship this Saturday at Full Gear in a No-Disqualification match. The match reached the expected levels of intensity and brutality as both men bled while using various weapons on each other to get the upper hand. Ultimately, it was the Sussex County Chicken that prevailed and ended the Prototstar's 114-day title reign.
Shortly after their match, the Jacksonville-based promotion posted a clip on X of a bloodied Briscoe celebrating his victory. Just as his faction mate, Orange Cassidy, approached the Sussex County Chicken to give him a new customized TNT title, saying it was from the Conglomeration. It is worth noting that this title win is Briscoe's first singles AEW title since officially joining Tony Khan's promotion back in 2023.

Kyle Fletcher will enter AEW Continental Classic
Following his loss, Kyle Fletcher was visibly irritated backstage when he met with Don Callis, Konosuke Takeshita, Hechicero, and Kazuchika Okada, as no one from the Don Callis Family came to help him during his TNT title match against Mark Briscoe. In that segment, the protostar revealed his next steps in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Next Wednesday, All Elite Wrestling will kick off this year's edition of the Continental Classic. Kazuchika Okada will defend his Unified title in the tournament. In the Don Callis segment, the Protostar confirmed that he will also participate in the Continental Classic along with another group member, Konosuke Takeshita. While the remaining participants are expected to be revealed on the upcoming Dynamite, it will be interesting to see if the Don Callis Family, who have now lost the TNT title, can still hold on to the Unified title.
