The NBA has had a lot of superstars playing in the league, but Victor Wembanyama might be one of the most special players. He is a 7'5" behemoth, but he has skills that could rival any guard in the league. The San Antonio Spurs struck gold by getting the first overall pick in the 2023 Draft because they could get him.
Over the past three seasons, the NBA has gotten accustomed to having Wembanyama as a featured player. Now, he has already grown into one of the league's best players. In fact, he is arguably the league's best two-way player because he is elite on both ends of the floor.
Draymond gives Wembanyama the praise he deserves for his two-way stardom
During his career, Draymond Green has been one of the league's best defenders. Of course, he has never been the offensive powerhouse like his teammate Stephen Curry, but he has seen plenty of stars in his time as a fixture of the Golden State Warriors.
Green is known for being quite candid when it comes to his opinions about other players in the league. In the past, he was not the biggest fan of Wembanyama, but now that the Frenchman is in his third season, Green cannot ignore the 7'5" giant's greatness on both ends of the floor.

Wembanyama is playing MVP-level basketball for the Spurs, as they went from outside the Playoffs in the 2024-25 season to being the second seed this season. That is an impressive rise for the Spurs, and Wembanyama is the primary reason behind their success.
"Wemby is this otherworldly thing, man. Like, I’m not even going to say otherworldly person, he is just this otherworldly thing, and everything that he does is going to take you like four people to do. Like, he is that special of a player," Green said on The Draymond Green show about Wembanyama.
As Wembanyama continues to progress as a player, he will continue improving on both ends of the floor. He will be a nightmare for every NBA team that is not the Spurs for years to come. Wemby is already great, but he will most likely keep learning and improving, which will be scary for the league.
