The Atlanta Falcons will be missing one of their key offensive weapons for this upcoming weekend. Drake London has been ruled out for their Week 12 encounter with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The team’s wide receiver is dealing with a PCL sprain, which will at best only keep him out for this weekend.
For some people, it’d be best if London took a longer time to heal, given the team’s current record.

“We lose to the saints. bookmark this tweet,” said another. “Just end the season already,” someone else suggested. The Falcons are currently 3-7 and sit in third place in the NFC South.
They are on a five-game losing streak heading to New Orleans on Sunday. Injuries have hit the Falcons especially hard of late, with the team having to turn to Kirk Cousins last weekend after Michael Penix Jr. hurt his knee.
Elsewhere, fans were devastated to lose London.
@NFL @RapSheet Get well soon man, we need you out there

@NFL @RapSheet Huge loss for ATL 😭 next man up season
While Pennix is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Saints, either he or Cousins will have to depend on other receivers to step up. That’s a big ask given what London has brought to the table in 2025.
He leads the team with 810 receiving yards. The next highest pass catcher is Bijan Robinson, who racked up 506 yards. London leads the team with six touchdown catches.
London led Atlanta with seven catches for 119 yards in their overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 11. His 31.6% target share is the third-highest mark among players with 75 or more targets this season.
London’s injury is reportedly not “serious”
While his leaving their game last weekend looked very concerning, things may not be as bad as initially thought. NFL insider Adam Schefter says the injury:
“Is not thought to be overly serious.”He’ll undergo an MRI today to figure out the extent of his injury. The shorter London is out the better it will be for the offense.
Until his injury London's girlfriend Sofia has been making most of the headines. She was seen showing off a custom themed boyfriend skirt in September.
Outside of him, this team has struggled catching passes. London leads the team in all receiving categories. Of the wide receivers currently on the roster, Darnell Mooney is the next best statistically speaking, outside of London. Mooney has just 224 yards receiving so far in 2025.
As a team, the Falcons' wide receivers, excluding London, have made just 89 catches combined for 447 yards.
