Dolly Parton’s staff flees office in fear over singer’s nephew’s alleged threatening texts: report

Employees of Dolly Parton’s management company, She’s Alive, LLC., reportedly fled the office and are getting private security over her nephew Bryan Seaver’s alleged threatening texts.

The management company claimed in new court documents filed Tuesday and obtained by TMZ that Parton’s trusts and estates attorney withdrew, other personnel resigned, and some staff members stopped coming into the office because of Seaver’s alleged messages.

Additionally, the company claimed it had to hire private security for employees, including at their homes.

Describing the result as “continuing operational paralysis,” She’s Alive, LLC., said it cannot manage Parton’s legacy if employees and business partners remain fearful of Seaver, according to TMZ.

In his texts, Seaver — who was recently fired from his longtime post as head of security — allegedly called himself an “international arms dealer and mercenary” and said, “I’m a killer.”

The management company also claimed that after Parton died in August, Seaver bragged, warned, “Everyone needs to be worried about what I might do,” and vowed to “destroy the entire brand” and “ratf–k every entity.”

Seaver, in another message, allegedly told Parton’s longtime entertainment attorney, “I’m not an entertainment person. I’m a killer.”

The management company filed the new docs to support its request for a temporary restraining order against Seaver and his security company.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Parton’s manager of over 20 years, Donny Nozell, filed a lawsuit seeking a restraining order against Seaver, who Nozell claimed is trying to extort him for money and has been threatening him.

Nozell accused Seaver of Nozell of “invoking his self-proclaimed military-contractor experience, access to weapons, and capacity for violence” to demand money, and alleges he started threatening him a few weeks before Parton died.

But in a statement to TMZ, Seaver claimed the messages were taken out of context.

“Nothing in this lawsuit were threats and most of the comments I stand by,” he shared. “I was talking frankly in a private way with Danny who I thought was my friend and he fancies himself a gangster.”

“A lot of these messages are two guys having rage talk and crying on the phone together while we were grieving,” he added.

Seaver also slammed Nozell and Pinnacle Bank over losing his security job, telling TMZ he’s “dismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions” taken since the country music icon’s passing.

“We refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much,” Seaver and his team said.

Seaver, the son of Dolly’s sister Cassie, broke the news of her death in an Instagram video on Aug. 25.

“As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven’t truly felt it until now,” Seaver shared.

He also said the tragic announcement  was “something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality.”

Seaver attended the memorial for Parton with about a dozen of her closest relatives in Nashville, three days after her death.
