If Joe Brady expected to walk into the Buffalo Bills head coaching role and have an easing-in period, well, he might be sadly mistaken.
Not to say he will, because he knows better than most the type of pressure the franchise has been under for the last couple of seasons.
But with Sean McDermott out, and Brady now sitting in the big chair in Buffalo, that move was made with one thing in mind -- winning a Super Bowl.
And for ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg, Brady will be under pressure to bring the ultimate success from the get-go.
"No one will be feeling more pressure than Brady,” Getzenberg wrote. “He has the task of not only continuing the Bills' run of success that has included seven straight playoff appearances, but taking the next step and winning a championship.
“Advancing further in the postseason with Allen is of the utmost priority, and the Bills will hope that the continuity Brady brings puts him in position to do just that.”

Is Brady "pressure" fair?
Fair is in the eye of the beholder, but the Bills, having failed multiple times in the playoffs, per owner Terry Pegula, hit the "playoff wall" after the loss to the Denver Broncos.
So, it only makes sense that the Bills, under Brady, are held to the same standard, right? After all, Brady was hired to do what McDermott couldn't.
I doubt the Bills' front office will look too pleased if Brady starts the year 2-4. This is a win-now franchise with Josh Allen in the prime of his career.
That means winning, and winning now.
Brady can't afford many missteps in his first year, which could be seen as unfair, but given Buffalo's current situation, it is Super Bowl or bust...with a first-time head coach.
No pressure, Joe.
