On the eve of game day — and amid rumors she made a savage diss against rival Caitlin Clark — Angel Reese took to social media to show her softer side.
In a Friday, May 16 TikTok share, Reese, 23, batted her eyelashes at the camera as a soft filter created an angelic effect. In the background? Beautiful roses in a baby pink color.

Reese’s post batting her enviably long eyelashes came amid rumors that a comment she made was a brutal diss against her long-time rival. Before this much-anticipated season opener, Reese’s team quoted her on X (formerly Twitter), “I want to be on all-defensive team this year. The best players in this league are the 4's and I take that personal."

The coveted power forward position includes icons such as Las Vegas Ace/Nike A’One phenom A’ja Wilson. But Clark, 23, Reese’s long-time rival? She finds her unique superstardom via an impressive combo of shooting and passing — not by being a “4.”
Reese hasn’t confirmed that her “personal” quote saying that the “best players” are a 4 was a dig against her very not-a-4 rival Clark. The women will leave it all out on the court starting 3 pm Saturday in Indianapolis.
