Dodgers vs Cardinals prediction

Taking the mound for Los Angeles is lefty Clayton Kershaw who has struggled to keep the runs down this season, having only made his first start halfway through May. At the moment, Kershaw is pitching with a 5.17 ERA, having struck out only eight batters in total.

Offensively, the visitors boast one of the most potent lineups in all of baseball, spearheaded by the likes of Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and Will Smith.

For the Cardinals, righty Michael McGreevy makes only his second start of the season. Though there is not much to judge McGreevy on, he looked strong in his only other appearance, pitching 5.2 scoreless innings against the New York Mets in early May.

Having lost both games leading upto Sunday's clash, the visitors should be able to register a confidence-boosting win before heading into a series with their bitter rivals, the San Diego Padres.
