The Los Angeles Dodgers have won back-to-back World Series championships, one a dominant showing against the New York Yankees, and the other an extra-inning thriller against the Toronto Blue Jays.
But the Dodgers had some big weaknesses last year, and this offseason, they aimed to fix those holes. And boy, did they. Kyle Tucker and Edwin Diaz are now both Dodgers, plugging the holes at closer and in the outfield.
Now, after those two moves, do the Dodgers have any weaknesses? Well, based on Jim Bowden of The Athletic's comments on their offseason, it's hard to say that the Dodgers have any such weaknesses left after their A+ offseason.
Dodgers have no weakness after A+ offseason
"The Dodgers have won back-to-back titles and had only two real weaknesses last year - no impact closer and below-average defense in right field," Bowden writes. "Well, they addressed both of those areas, signing the top closer in the NL, Edwin Diaz, and the top overall free agent, Kyle Tucker, to play right field."
As if the Dodgers weren't stacked enough as they already were, they weren't out and added the best closer available this offseason, and the best overall free agent on the market this offseason.
The only thing stopping the Dodgers from being a truly unstoppable force would be a blockbuster trade for Tarik Skubal with the Detroit Tigers. It's very much within the realm of possibility with the Dodgers' good farm system and good MLB options for a deal.

But, even without such a move, the Dodgers' offseason is already an A+ with their additions of Tucker and Diaz. It doesn't get much better than what the Dodgers have right now.
With the additions of Tucker and Diaz, the Dodgers have no real weakness. Teams won't be able to exploit one player or one phase of the game anymore when facing the Dodgers.
It's either be beaten by the best team in the league or overcome big odds against the top team in the league. The Dodgers have built a super team, and that was before the additions of Tucker and Diaz to the roster.
