The Los Angeles Dodgers surely are going to try to add another superstar to the organization this winter.
Los Angeles has been in the news already plenty this offseason as rumors have started to pick up about who the Dodgers could sign. The Dodgers have plenty of money to spend and are the most appealing landing spot for players after winning the World Series this fall.
There's a lot to like about the Dodgers, but if they could land another star to the rotation, it would just make them better. That's where 23-year-old phenom Rōki Sasaki comes into play. He is going to be posted by the Chiba Lotte Marines and is one of the most exciting pitching prospects in recent memory.
He has been widely speculated to land with Los Angeles and USA Today Sport's Bob Nightengale claimed that there is a "98 percent chance" that he ends up signing with Los Angeles.
"I would say right now (there's) a 98 percent chance goes to the Dodgers and a two percent chance he goes to the (San Diego Padres)."
Due to his young age, the Dodgers could bring him to town for just a few million dollars rather than a mega deal like what they gave to Yoshinobu Yamamoto last offseason. This is the type of move that would take the Dodgers to an even higher level for years to come.
Los Angeles already should be considered the favorite to win the World Series in 2025 and landing Sasaki would just make it even more of a guarantee,
