The Los Angeles Dodgers clearly are going to be a team to watch in 2025.

Los Angeles won the World Series this fall over the New York Yankees and is built to contend for other titles over the next few years. There is no team with more talent than the Dodgers and that won't change this offseason.

The Dodgers do have some decisions to make with free agency about to heat up and FanSided's Jacob Mountz urged the team to re-sign All-Star slugger Teoscar Hernández.

"Behind the stars that brought a championship trophy to LA, Teoscar Hernández was an integral part of the Dodgers’ success," Mountz said. "The Dodgers spent considerable time missing at least one mainstay of their lineup at a time. Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Max Muncy missed a combined 150 games in 2024. Hernández more than made up for their absences. For the one year he spent in Dodger Blue, Hernández provided an ample amount of firepower from the middle of the order.

"He hit a career-high 33 home runs to a slash line of .272/.339/.501/.840 winning him his third Silver Slugger. Adding to his accolades, besides winning the Home Run Derby, is a postseason performance to remember with three home runs and an on-base percentage of .352...Hernández is one of the top outfielders on the market this offseason and naturally, the Dodgers have shown a great deal of interest in him. Given what he did with the Dodgers and his LA-or-bust attitude, bringing Hernández back appears to be in the best interest of both parties."

Los Angeles clearly made the right move in signing Hernández last offseason. It would be the right call to bring him back once again in 2025.
