With some limited NBA action and a full G League game under his belt, the first season of Bronny James' professional career continued Sunday evening. 

James, who will reportedly only be playing in home G League games and continue traveling with the Los Angeles Lakers, joined the rest of the South Bay Lakers in their matchup against the Stockton Kings. 

The 20-year-old rookie was officially assigned to the G League by the Lakers on Sunday afternoon, setting the stage for his second full game in the league. In his first contest with South Bay, James totaled six points, four assists, three rebounds, two steals, and one block in just over 31 minutes of action. South Bay won that game over Salt Lake City, 110-96.

James has seen action in five NBA games for the Lakers, but his most extensive time on the court in 2024-25 will come in the G League. The rookie returned to the UCLA Health and Training Center, South Bay's home court, for another opportunity to display his talent.

With South Bay trailing 57-51 against Stockton at halftime of Sunday's game, James had four points  to go along with two rebounds and an assist. Two of those points came on a nice drive to the rim, as the rookie downed a layup with his left hand through contact.

The 20-year-old will look to help South Bay make a comeback effort in the second half against the Kings.
