The Miami Dolphins, after parting ways with general manager Chris Grier, were viewed as potential major sellers at the 2025 trade deadline.
Maimi traded Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles, but another "Jaylen" was coming up in a lot of trade rumors. Jaylen Waddle wasn't going to be traded with Grier, but with Champ Kelly in charge, things could change.
With the rumors swirling around Waddle, and the 2025 NFL trade deadline now passed, did Waddle actually get traded, or is he still with the Dolphins?
Did Jaylen Waddle get traded by the Dolphins?
The Dolphins, despite plenty of interest from teams around the NFL, did not trade away Waddle at the deadline. Kelly and the Dolphins were listening to offers, but didn't end up trading away their star receiver.
Miami was seeking at least a first-round pick for Waddle. While Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams of the New York Jets landed first-round picks in their trades, no team was willing to match the Dolphins' demands.

The 26-year-old receiver is staying in Miami for the rest of the 2025 season at the minimum. Waddle has 41 receptions for 586 yards and four touchdowns on the year, and will look to raise those totals with Tua Tagovailoa for the remainder of the season.
Waddle is staying in Miami, as the Dolphins don't pull off any major trade deadline blockbusters like their AFC East counterpart.
