Deebo Samuel surfaced in last-minute trade rumors.
Between 3 p.m. ET and the 4 p.m. ET NFL deadline, Samuel was linked to the Buffalo Bills.
The Washington Commanders' season may be going down the tubes a bit with Jayden Daniels' injury, but it still would've been a quick move. Samuel just came to town in a trade in the offseason from the San Francisco 49ers.
In the end, though, the rumor was just a rumor.

Did Deebo Samuel get traded?
No, in the end, Deebo Samuel was not traded.
He'll head into Week 10 still a member of the Washington Commanders.
If they want to bounce back, even with Marcus Mariota at QB, they'll need Samuel.
Terry McLaurin's health is in question with the recurrence of his quad injury. And Noah Brown is still out, too. Not to mention Luke McCaffrey being lost to a season-ending collarbone injury.
Samuel has missed time with a heel injury, but he's healthy now, and he's been the top-performing wideout this season on the Commanders.
Washington knows it can rely on Samuel to do a lot of different things for the offense, and so he'll stay in town and try to power the Commanders forward even without Daniels for the time being.
