Details on 2026-27 NBA schedule release dates: When we'll learn Christmas Day slate and more

We're about halfway through the 2026 NBA offseason, which means we'll soon find out the schedule for the upcoming season.

With a lot of movement among players this offseason, fans will be anticipating when we'll see certain players and teams meet.

Let's take a look at when certain games will be revealed.

Details on 2026-27 NBA schedule release dates: When we'll learn Christmas Day slate and more

The NBA announced earlier today that Good Morning America and The Today Show will both reveal a few key marquee matchups on Tuesday morning.

This likely will include notable national televised games during opening week, games on Christmas Day and other notable dates.

We'll only get a small glimpse of the entire schedule on Tuesday, but you won't have to wait long to get the entire schedule.

NBA insider Brett Siegel additionally added that the full schedule will be released a couple of days later, on Thursday afternoon this week.

Look out for dates of the following games that will be announced on either Tuesday or Thursday during the schedule release week:

• LeBron's first game back in LA
• Jaylen Brown's first game back in Boston
• Knicks/Spurs NBA Finals rematch
• Thunder/Spurs WCF rematch
• AJ Dybantsa's NBA debut
• Giannis Antetokounmpo's return to Milwaukee
• Tyrese Haliburton's return after missing the 2025-26 season
