Every Time Blue Ivy, Rumi Carter Stole the Show on Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter Tour
This news is gonna make you lose your breath.
After all, it’s not every day that Destiny’s Child reunites. Indeed, during the last night of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour in Last Vegas July 26, her former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined her on stage for an epic performance.
As seen in videos shared to social media, Beyoncé disappeared beneath the stage on a moving platform beneath in the middle of the show as the group’s “Independent Woman” began to play throughout the arena. Upon her ascent, Beyoncé was joined by Kelly and Michelle to the tune of wild applause and screaming.
As Queen Bey told the crowd, “Destiny’s Child b--ch!”
The trio—dressed in coordinating golden outfits, complete with chaps—then launched into their hit song “Lose My Breath” as they strutted down the stage. They followed it up with Beyoncé’s song “Energy” before launching into the fan-favorite mute challenge.
The trio—who last performed together during Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella performance—marked the end of their reunion with their song “Bootylicious” before embracing onstage. Beyoncé then exclaimed to the crowd, “Give it up for Destiny’s Child!”
The 43-year-old also made sure the epic moment would live permanently on her Instagram feed, sharing a photo of the trio from the stage which saw Michelle plant a sweet kiss on Beyoncé’s cheek while Kelly posed with the microphone.

The BeyHive, needless to say, was thrilled by the reunion. As one user wrote, “This is everything. Pure friendship, sisterhood and allowing us to share that with you all is truly incredible,” while another added, “I SAW THIS IN REAL TIME? ILY ALL.”
Throughout her Cowboy Carter tour, Beyoncé has made sure to make each performance special for her audiences. In fact, she’s made her and Jay-Z’s kids Blue Ivy Carter, 13, and Rumi Carter, 7, a critical piece of each show, the two girls joining her on stage night after night.
The experience is one the two girls will surely remember forever, as Tina Knowles previously shared insight into how Rumi—whose twin Sir Carter stayed out of the spotlight—felt hitting the stage with her mom.

“I said, ‘How do you feel when you wave and everybody screams,” the 71-year-old revealed during a May 19 stop on her Matriarch book tour in New York. “She said, ‘It feels powerful.’ I was like, ‘Oh, I see what you mean.’”
