A WWE legend detailed his final interaction with Hulk Hogan before his sudden demise. The WWE Hall of Famer passed away yesterday from a cardiac arrest at 71 years old.

In an interview with People, wrestling legend Jimmy Hart shared that he could not reach Hulk Hogan on Wednesday night. However, Hogan's assistant responded and shared that The Hulkster was doing fine. Unfortunately, Hogan passed away the very next morning, and Hart was caught off guard.

“It just hits so fast. It was like, ‘Oh my God.’ We thought he was doing so well, you know? We didn't go to see him at the house and didn't go to see him at the hospital, because we wanted to make sure that he didn't get any infections or anything else, like if anybody had a cold or brought anything in. So, that's what we all did," said Hart.

Hart also noted that Hogan was now free of pain and would be reuniting with his other friends who had already passed.

"Now he's happy because he's free of pain where he's going. And then once he's where he's going, up there in heaven, he's going to be with all his friends. He's going to be with Andre the Giant. He's going to be with The Wild Samoans, Sika and Afa. He's going to be with Dusty Rhodes, who was his mentor. He's going to be with Randy Savage, who he and Hulk, they were so tight back in the day down in Tampa, and so many more of our people," added Jimmy Hart. [H/T: People]

Hogan was set to be the Commissioner of 'Real American Freestyle' Wrestling before his passing. RAF's first show is scheduled for August 30 in Cleveland, Ohio.

WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis pays tribute to Hulk Hogan

Nick Aldis penned an emotional tribute to WWE legend Hulk Hogan following his death.

The GM of WWE SmackDown took to X/Twitter to note that Hogan made personal decisions that earned him criticism, but decided not to weigh in on those. The former NWA champion stated that the veteran represented his childhood and completely changed the wrestling business.

"As someone who has put food on the table from pro wrestling for twenty years, I believe it is necessary to take a moment to recognize the importance of Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania to our business. He pulled the wagon and brought a ton of people with him. Brought wrestling into the cable TV era, changed the game for the way performers could monetize their talent. Put simply, he showed us what was possible. Also, he represents my childhood, and millions of others. That deserves recognition. RIP Hulk Hogan," he wrote.

It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for Hulk Hogan's tribute tonight on WWE SmackDown.
