On Tuesday, the NFL announced the complete rosters for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, and the Los Angeles Rams were well represented with four players, including Jared Verse, Byron Young, Puka Nacua, and MVP candidate Matthew Stafford.
There is no doubt that those players are deserving of the honors after the season they have put together, but at least two others made a strong case for selection to the games.
Davante Adams
The eight-year veteran is currently recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered a couple of weeks ago, but has sneakily been one of, if not the most reliable receiver in the league. Adams has the most receiving touchdowns this season with 14 and has nearly 1,000 yards on only 60 receptions.
Aside from Nacua, who is a top receiver in the league, Adams is the only Rams receiver with over 500 receiving yards and stepped up tremendously amid various injuries on offense, the most notable being tight end Tyler Higbee, who is on injured reserve.
Even though Adams may already have six appearances in the Pro Bowl, adding another this season would have been a reminder that he can still get it done with the best of them, if he hasn't already.
Kyren Williams
Since the young back entered the league, he has been a consistent rusher for Los Angeles, rushing for over 1,000 yards in every season since his rookie year. He has played a major role in the Rams' deadly balanced attack over the last few seasons.
Williams ranks within the top ten in rushing yards with 1,100 and touchdowns with ten while splitting carries with Blake Corum, who has proved to be a servicable back in his second year.
Now, the competition at running back is stiff in the NFC with talent such as Christian McCraffrey, Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, and even vets like Josh Jacobs, so it was going to be tough for Williams to secure a spot regardless. Still, the young star had an excellent argument for the honor.
However, it's almost a guarantee that neither Adams nor Williams cares about getting snubbed from the Pro Bowl when the Rams have championship aspirations.
