The Los Angeles Lakers are still searching for forward depth at the trade deadline, and a list of options is beginning to take shape.
The Lakers have coveted New Orleans Pelicans forwards Trey Murphy III and Herbert Jones, but the Pelicans have been reluctant to include them in trade talks.
The Athletic's Dan Woike reported Wednesday that the Lakers are turning to other options, with several names emerging as potential options.
"According to league sources, the Lakers have been linked to virtually every defensive wing on the market, including Golden State’s Jonathan Kuminga, the Clippers’ Derrick Jones Jr. and Chicago’s Isaac Okoro," Woike said.

Kuminga has frequently been linked to the Lakers this trade season, but the Warriors may keep him if they aren't satisfied with trade offers.
Okoro has been a solid contributor for the Bulls, averaging 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Jones has posted 10.4 points and shot 40% from three in 17 games.
But Kuminga and Jones are injured, affecting their availability for the stretch run of the season. Woike believes this complicates the Lakers' trade plans even more.
"That has put the Lakers in a tight spot — yet again — with the team possessing clear needs for roster help but incredibly limited means to acquire it and, perhaps, better options in the future that they could limit with the wrong move now," Woike said.
The Lakers are limited on assets. Players like Gabe Vincent and Dalton Knecht aren't drawing much interest around the league, and LA only has two first-round picks available to trade.
