A seven-time All-Star, three-time AL MVP and five-time Silver Slugger award winner, Aaron Judge is arguably one of the best hitters in the big leagues at the moment. Having hit 62 home runs in the 2022 regular season, he holds the AL single-season home run record.

According to Toronto Blue Jays star Davis Schneider's dad, Steve, he may about to make more major league history in five year's time.

On Wednesday, a fan posted to X, shouting out infielder Darrell Evans, who holds the record of being the oldest player in MLB history to lead the league in homers. He set the record in 1985, hitting 40 home runs aged 38.

Replying to the post, Steve Schneider predicted Aaron Judge to "easily" break the record in 2030.

"Aaron Judge beats this easy in 5 years," Steve Schneider posted.

Having made his debut in 1969, Evans spent 21 seaons in the big leagues. In that time, he represented some of the biggest organizations in the sport, such as the Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants and Detroit Tigers. A two-time All-Star, Evans also won the World Series in 1984.

Evans decided to hang up his cleats in 1989. He was inducted into the San Francisco Giants' Wall of Fame in 2008.

"Go nuts!" - analyst urges the Yankees to make the most of Aaron Judge's prime years

Having won consecutive AL MVP awards, Aaron Judge is very much at the peak of his powers. Unfortunately for Yankees fans, their captain does not have much team success to go with his long list of individual accolades.

After coming up short in the playoffs yet again in 2025, the Yankees have not been as active on the market as fans would have hoped.

On Dec. 24, analyst and content creator Jimmy O'Brien, known popularly as Jomboy, posted a video to X calling the organization out for their passivity.

"If Judge gets hurt, this team stinks. what happened to, like, you were trying to bring in Soto? Like, go get someone to bat with Judge," Jomboy said. "We can't continue to have it be half a year of Goldy, half a year of Carpenter, half a year of Rizzo, and these are who bat with Judge. "You had one full year of Soto, that was awesome. Go Nuts and be irresponsible. If there's ever been a time to be irresponsible, and like, do the old-school way and then reel it back in three years if you need to."

Judge's pursuit of his first World Series title continues as we head into 2026.
