Dave Portnoy, Piers Morgan and more are cringing over Jordon Hudson interrupting boyfriend Bill Belichick’s CBS interview.
“My Sunday morning routine is always coffee and ‘CBS Sunday Morning,'” Portnoy, 48, wrote via X over the weekend, alongside a clip from the former NFL coach’s interview.
“It’s a feel good show. The opposite of controversial. So [imagine] my surprise this morning when they had the most awkward Bill Belichick interview I’ve ever seen. Like I was squirming in my seat.”
Morgan, 60, retweeted Portnoy’s post, adding, “It was utterly excruciating. Mr Belichick needs a family or friend intervention asap.”
Meanwhile, Jemele Hill took to X with a comment about Belichick and his former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
“A 24 year old seems to have more influence over Bill Belichick than Tom Brady. Cold game,” the former ESPN sports journalist, 49, tweeted Sunday.
ESPN radio host Peter Burns called for Belichick to be saved from his much-younger girlfriend.
“I’ve watched this at least 20 times and I keep coming back to the same conclusion,” he tweeted.
“Belichick might be being held against his will. We need to save that man.”
Discourse surrounding the famed coach’s “CBS Sunday Morning” interview surfaced on Sunday.
In the clip, journalist Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick, 73, how he and Hudson, 24, met.

“We’re not talking about this,” the former cheerleader told Dokoupil as she sat nearby off-camera.
In a voiceover, Dokoupil explained that the couple did not feel “comfortable” commenting on their relationship. He also noted that Hudson was a “constant presence” throughout his chat with Belichick.
Dokoupil then asked the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill head coach how he deals with the public scrutiny surrounding his relationship with Hudson.
“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks,” Belichick replied. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”
The two exchanged numbers when they met on a flight in 2021 after he autographed her textbook.
The Bridgewater State University graduate and Belichick were spotted together for the first time in January 2023.
Since then, they have appeared together on several occasions, including their red carpet debut at The Museum Gala at New York City’s American Museum of Natural History in December 2024 and their date night at the NFL Honors in February.
