Celebrity Deaths: 2025’s Fallen Stars
Lizzie Kieffer is navigating an unimaginable loss.
The content creator—who has amassed over 300,000 followers by using her background as a physical therapist to help women throughout their pregnancy journeys—shared her 12-month-old daughter Lilian "Lily" Louise Kieffer has died.
“We are shattered,” Lizzie began an April 26 social media message. “Wednesday we woke up to a nightmare that we never imagined becoming our reality. Our Lily passed away.”
Within the message, Lizzie shared she and her husband Matt Kieffer—with whom she also shares daughter Mia and a baby on the way—are still looking for answers.
“We don’t have answers and we don’t know why this is God’s plan for us,” she wrote. “We also have come to learn that Lily had a large mass on her brain that we could have never known about as she never showed signs. We won’t know more answers with many of these things for months until further testing is done.”
Lizzie—who announced March 2 that’s she’s pregnant with her third baby—also spoke to the impact Lily had on their lives during their time with her.
“Our hearts, our bodies, our souls ache for her as she was the purist of beings and brought light to every single space,” she continued. “Our days are written before we were even formed, and in Lily’s 374 days of life, she taught us more than I think many could in their lifetime.”

The physical therapist said she and her family feel the support and prayers from their loved ones and her many followers, asking that people continue to keep them in their thoughts as they move forward.
She also took a moment to speak to Lily directly.
“You will always, always be a part of us and although the hole will never be filled, speaking your name will sing through our days bringing joy into the moments,” she wrote. “You’re our light in this darkness and we know God is holding you in an extra special place.”

Lizzie’s post was soon filled with messages of condolences, including from fellow content creator Madeline Custer.
“Words are so inadequate—I am praying for a unexplainable peace for you guys that could only come from God,” Madeline wrote. “You’re in every thought and prayer and if there are needs that arise for the day to day, please let your community know. I know it would be an honor to so many.”
