Barcelona had a sensational season under the tutelage of manager Hansi Flick, who in his first season has done a great job.
It was also the first season for Dani Olmo in Catalonia. The Spain international joined Barcelona last summer and despite all his injury and registration troubles. He has had a splendid campaign for the Catalans.
He finished the 2024/25 La Liga season with nine goals and three assists. Although out of the 23 league appearances, he only started 13 games. But his important off the bench and in cup competitions was immense.
As per reports, Premier League giants Manchester City are interested in the Spanish attacking midfielder. Pep Guardiola is a big admirer of the 27-year-old, who can also slot in as a forward.
However, Olmo's agent, Andy Bara, recently spoke to Sky Sports Germany about the increasing rumours linking his agent with Premier League teams.
“We are not talking to any other club. Dani is very happy in Barcelona at the moment, he’s winning titles there and is part of a great team.

“The rumours are not true. But of course, you never know what the future will bring.”
Therefore, this is not the first time City are after the signature of the Spaniard. They tried to lure him away from RB Leipzig back in 2023 but the deal didn't materialize.
But now, Guardiola sees him as an ideal player to replace Bernardo Silva in midfield. The Portuguese has reportedly been told by the team management that he isn't in the club's plans beyond this season. With a year left in his current contract, City are willing to hear offers for Silva.
However, Olmo has seamlessly integrated into Flick's setup, and he will be up for bigger things in the upcoming season.
The 27-year-old didn't have much trouble settling into the system at Camp Nou, mainly because he was a part of the La Masia setup for seven years between 2007 and 2014.
Apart from Manchester City, Liverpool are another team interested in the Spaniard. But as per his agent's statement, it won't be an easy deal to crack as the player just moved to a new country last year and may not look for another move this summer.
