Dallas Cowboys Jake Ferguson breaks silence after Haley Cavinder proposal

The Dallas Cowboys gained a new, glamorous WAG when the Cavinder Twins, 24, announced that Haley Cavinder was moving to Texas to be with her boyfriend, tight end Jake Ferguson. Now that the athlete, 26, has officially put a ring on it, he took to the twins’ TikTok with behind-the-scenes footage from the big day.

The first thing that the 6’5” football player admitted on video was that he was new to social media, but the day wasn’t about him. “I’m proposing to Shorty and we’re making a vlog,” he says in the Monday, April 21 TikTok video. “We’re doing it her way — let’s go.”

In the share, “Ferg” — as Haley and her twin, Hanna, affectionately call him — doesn’t hold back, filming himself in bed admitting that he had been too excited to sleep much. Over a cup of coffee, he then gushes over his bride-to-be. “Let me tell you a little bit about this woman I’m about to put a stone, a rock on her hand,” he says. “On Day 8, I put in my notes…”

The video then flashes to a screen shot of an iPhone note dated 7/4/23 that reads: “Im gonna marry that Haley Cavinder.” It isn’t clear which twin produced the footage into a TikTok share (Ferg addresses both), but “I’m crying” is written over the screen shot.

“She makes me such a better man and makes me so happy,” he says. “She’s become the why in everything I do. I love her. I love the way she carries herself, the way she treats her people, the way she treats her close circle. I love that woman.”

The athlete then hits the gym with his brother for leg day. “It’s good for the knees if you know what I’m talking about,” he jokes, before practicing getting down on one knee in front of the gym mirror.

Ferguson looks endearingly nervous when he tells the camera that Haley has arrived for her big surprise. He then shows himself changed into white slacks and a blue-and-white striped shirt. “Getting ready took me all of five minutes,” he admitted.

The final shot shows an elated Haley dangling her enormous rock in front of the camera.
