Dakota Johnson and Role Model confirm relationship as they hold hands in cozy LA date

Dakota Johnson and Role Model seemingly confirmed their relationship with a cozy date night.

The two were photographed at a Los Angeles hot spot on Thursday, dining with a friend and appearing deep in conversation.

They were also pictured smiling at each other as they left the restaurant.

For the outing, Johnson, 36, wore a black, lacy tank top, black trousers, a cheetah print purse and bundled up in a black trench coat.

The 28-year-old singer sported a dark gray, waffle-knit sweater, black jeans and a black scarf.

Reps for Johnson and Role Model were not immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Johnson and Role Model, born Tucker Pillsbury, first sparked dating rumors in December 2025 when they were photographed enjoying a candlelight dinner with friends.

They were seen cuddled up in a booth, per photos obtained by TMZ, and an insider told the outlet that the pair “got very close.”

They added more fuel to the dating rumors last week when they went on another date in LA.

The “Fifty Shades of Grey” star and the rapper were spotted walking into celebrity hotspot Marvin in Beverly Hills on Jan. 14, per a video obtained by DeuxMoi.

The actress’ new romance comes six months after she called off her engagement to Chris Martin.

Johnson and Martin, 48, were together for about eight years before they parted ways in June 2025.

Although neither star has addressed their split themselves, a source told the US Sun that the Coldplay frontman and the “Materialists” actress called it quits because of their 12-year age gap and the topic of having children.

“Dakota has been desperate for her and Chris to work out for years, and every time they broke up she was devastated and in tears,” the insider said.

“They really tried to work through their issues but the age gap was often a problem. She’d [also] expressed that she may want children in the future, whereas Chris is kind of done with that part of his life.”

The source continued, “They made some beautiful memories as a family, and it’ll be hard for both of them to move on after such a long relationship, but they will do it.”
