Dak Prescott's Dallas Cowboys suffered a 34-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. The loss sees America's team on the brink of elimination from the chance to make the playoffs.

Prescott spoke to the press after the game.

"Unfortunately, I'm sure the playoffs are out of the out of the picture, but it's about taking pride in who you are as a man, and not only that, and your job and everything that's gotten you to this point.” said Prescott

This will be the second consecutive season that the Cowboys will be missing the playoffs. They have struggled for consistency under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer, and Sunday's loss leaves Dak Prescott and Co. with a 1% chance of playing postseason football.

They'll need to win all their remaining games, while the Philadelphia Eagles must lose their last three games. That's the only way Dak Prescott and America's team will make the playoffs in the ongoing campaign.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are up against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16. They're looking to end a two-game losing streak when Jim Harbaugh's team comes to town.

The Cowboys won their first three games after their Week 10 bye, and it seemed like their fortunes were looking up. However, losses against the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings in Weeks 14 and 15 have brought them back to earth.

Their upcoming opponents are a red-hot Chargers team looking to punch in their playoff ticket. The Chargers have won six of their last seven games and are second in the AFC West. They'll pose significant challenges for a Cowboys team on the brink of elimination.
