It's been quite the season for the Chicago Cubs so far this year. They have had to navigate a ton of pitching injuries already, but have been able to maintain their balance.
Much of that balance is coming from the offensive side of things, particularly Pete Crow-Armstrong. After a shaky start to the season, he has completely flipped that around and is one of the hottest hitters in baseball right now.
After trying to do too much earlier in the season, he has let his natural athleticism take over and has helped the Cubs stay in the thick of things in the NL Central.

Cubs ride Pete Crow-Armstrong hot streak to a higher spot in the power rankings
Last week, the Cubs faced off against the Colorado Rockies in a three-game series to start the week. They were able to take two games, winning the series 2-1.
Then, they faced off against the Toronto Blue Jays over the weekend in what was supposed to be a three-game series that turned into two with rain cancelling Sunday's game and splitting the series at one apiece.
That winning record has helped the Cubs move up a few spots from No. 16 to No. 12, per Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter.
"It's tempting to pencil in 'Pete Crow-Armstrong' rather than the cubs in the No. 12 spot, as his otherworldly month of June continued last week with an 11-for-20 showing that included five home runs. He is hitting .437/.481/.930 with nine home runs in 17 games in June, and has almost single-handedly pulled the Cubs out of their tailspin."
Now, the Cubs and Pete Crow-Armstrong will turn their attention to the New York Mets. Monday's game has been cancelled due to inclement weather, but they still have three more games against the Mets this week before they take on their division rivals, the Milwaukee Brewers, on the road.
