Manchester United and Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has received a ‘major’ and ‘tempting’ transfer offer to leave Saudi Arabia, according to reports.
Having joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr in 2023, Ronaldo has been prolific in front of goal, racking up 97 goals in 109 games.
However, despite Ronaldo’s contributions, Al-Nassr have endured a disappointing season, failing to win any trophies and failing to qualify for the Asian Champions League.
Amid his frustrating spell at Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has received an ‘important’ and ‘major’ proposal from a Brazilian club, according to Spanish outlet Marca.
Though the identity of the club is not disclosed, a transfer would give Ronaldo the opportunity to play in this summer’s Club World Cup.
The four Brazilian clubs involved in the Club World Cup are Palmeiras, Fluminense, Flamengo and Botafogo. The tournament will be held between June 14 and July 13 in the United States.

Though Ronaldo was close to signing a new contract at Al-Nassr earlier in the year, it is claimed the Portugal icon could now decide to leave following the ‘tempting’ offer from Brazil.
Now, the 40-year-old finds himself at an unusual crossroads in his career as he decides his next move. While he has nothing left to prove to anybody, he is also chasing the 1000 goals mark in his career.
On the international front, Ronaldo will likely be leading Portugal out at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in USA, Canada and Mexico next year as he looks to get his hands on the elusive trophy.
But on the club front, it’ll be interesting to see what Ronaldo decides to do next and where he moves in terms of his career.
