Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders had a mixed first quarter against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16 on Sunday. During a 2nd & 13th with just three minutes remaining in the first quarter, with the scores tied at 7-7, Sanders appeared to fire a quick pass at running back Quinshon Judkins, who couldn't handle it. The football popped out of Judkins' hands and was intercepted by Bills safety Jordan Poyer. However, when NFL insider Josina Anderson described the play, she appeared to pin all the blame on Judkins for not looking up toward the QB while making his run.
"Quinshon Judkins curls in and doesn’t look for the ball soon enough on this pass from Sanders. Keep your head up & look for timing on this soon. Result is a pop-up interception that lands in the wrong hands of wily veteran #Bills S Jordan Poyer," Anderson tweeted on Sunday.•

Others also pointed out that Sanders' pass was not accurate enough, which made it difficult for Judkins to haul in the ball.
"That wasn't on Judkins. Really bad pass high and behind," one wrote. "It was high and behind. Your boyfriend threw a bad pass. It’s ok to admit," another added. "And this is why he gets hated on. He threw a bullet behind him. It’s ok for it to be his fault," a user tweeted. Before his interception, Sanders threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to fellow rookie Harold Fannin Jr. in the first quarter.
At the time of writing, the Bills hold a 20-10 lead, with two minutes remaining in the first half.

The Browns have long been eliminated from playoff contention, but Sanders can get an opportunity to prove his worth to the franchise.
The Browns took Sanders with the No. 144 pick in this year's NFL draft. He began the season as the third-string quarterback, but the rookie has gotten his chance to lead the team in the final few weeks of the season.
Heading into Week 16, Shedeur Sanders had a 1-3 record as a starter.
