The last time the Packers and Cowboys met on a Sunday night, it resulted in a 40-40 tie and one of the NFL's best games of 2025. What do they have in store this time around?
Two of the NFC's most historic franchises meet on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 6, and both could use a win in what's shaping up to be a competitive race in their respective divisions. Green Bay has dug out of an early 1-2 hole, beating Tampa Bay in Chicago in the last two weeks as Jordan Love (1,408 yards, 10 TDs) has been heating up.
Dallas, meanwhile, is coming off a rough loss to the Buccaneers in prime time. And while the Cowboys' offense remains one of the NFL's most high-powered attacks, the addition of Joey Porter Jr. to the defense has yet to improve Brian Schottenheimer's unit. With the Giants, Commanders and Eagles all facing their own questions, the Cowboys could have an opportunity to pull ahead in the NFC East.
While Micah Parsons wasn't able to return in time from his torn ACL to add another storyline to this matchup, it should still be plenty competitive between two of the NFC's top offenses.
