The Dallas Cowboys put up a fight, but it wasn't enough, and they dropped the team's Week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens, 34-31. It's a frustrating thing for an offense that has guys like quarterback Dak Prescott and wideouts CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
After the game, Prescott spoke with reporters about the upsetting loss. He's not the kind of guy to put the blame on others, and he stuck to that idea during this postgame presser. It shows that Prescott is simply a good and stand-up guy.
While some NFL analysts and experts wanted to point fingers at the defense in this game, Prescott said absolutely not. He put the firm blame on the offense.

Baltimore notched an impressive final drive, and that did put some eyes on the Cowboys' defense, but Prescott pushed back on the narrative that it was the defense's fault.
“Defense shouldn’t even have been in that position,” Prescott said. “You know those guys over there saying ‘it’s on us’? Absolutely not. We’ve got to put the game away. Period.”
Prescott also used the word "frustrated" to describe how he felt after the loss. This was a close game and could have gone either way, but Dallas just couldn't close it out.
“Excuse me. Embarrassed. We call ourselves the best offense," he said in the presser. "You know GOTI (Greatest Offense There Is), and we get down to the one-yard line and we don’t put it in."
He added that there's "a lot of words or full explanation of it."
It's only one game, but that puts the Cowboys at 1-2 for the season so far. Dallas is No. 3 in the NFC East heading into Week 4.
