The Dallas Cowboys' defense finally got some help on trade deadline day with linebacker Logan Wilson and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams coming to The Star.
Given how poorly the defense has played through eight games, changes were needed, and they have been made, personnel-wise.
Wilson still has juice, and Williams is one of the best defensive tackles in football, and will help shore up the defensive line for Matt Eberflus. Yes, the secondary is still wounded, but Williams helps the Cowboys in a big way right now.
And fellow defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa is on board with the move.
"He's going to add more play-making ability to the D-line, another bullet in the gun," Osa said via The Athletic's Jon Machota. "Another very strong and talented guy. ... I respect his game a lot. The dude's a baller. I'm excited to have him on the team."

Wilson and Williams have two weeks to get Eberflus' system down
The bye has come at the perfect time for the Cowboys and for Williams and Wilson, the pair have two weeks to get Matt Eberflus' system nailed down before facing the Las Vegas Raiders post-bye.
The embattled defense desperately needed some reinforcements, and in Williams and Wilson, the Cowboys get two players who will immediately help a unit that is one of the worst in football.
Shavon Revel Jr., Malik Hooker, and Donovan Wilson are thought to be a chance to return against the Raiders, so too DeMarvion Overshown, so this defense is getting healthy, but time will tell if it will be enough for this unit to be good enough to make a playoff run.
But Osa is excited about Quinnen coming to The Star. And so are we.
