Cowboys' George Pickens makes statement that will give Steelers fans a good laugh

When it comes to George Pickens' time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, volatile would be the best word to describe it.

While on the field or sideline, you just never knew when Pickens would melt down. If things were not going his way, Pickens would often show clear frustration on the sideline, and on the field, that frustration would come in the form of getting into scraps with opposing players on the field.

The last word we would use to describe Pickens, at least when it comes to his actions on the football field, is "chill."

However, Pickens would disagree.

According to Dallas Cowboys beat writer Tommy Yarrish, Pickens described himself as a "chill guy" and believes the narratives about him are inaccurate.

"I'm actually a chill guy," Pickens said. "There's a big phase of a tornado that's not even true. I'm a chill guy and I just love to work... Just staying humble. That's kind of what I always did. So, even when the story was what the story was, I always just kept working, staying humble."

Pickens' statement is laughable, at best.

There is no shortage of video evidence to prove he isn't as chill as he purports to be. Maybe that's different in his personal life, but Pickens definitely has issues with keeping his cool in-game.

So far, Pickens is mostly saying all the right things, but he has already slipped up and shown the lack of maturity that was part of the reason the Steelers traded him.

Pickens allegedly made a negative comment about the Steelers on social media before deleting it, and he then claimed that the screenshot wasn't him and was instead created with artificial intelligence.

We're currently in the honeymoon phase of the George Pickens experience, and maybe this continues and things go well in Dallas.

But, history would suggest there is a better chance than not that won't be the case.
